Application Stage
Stage I Feedback – The TAB-In Sessions
Before the TAB-In Sessions
- Beneficiaries will be assigned at least two experts for live review, feedback and recommendations;
- Beneficiaries will be informed about the agenda, the experts assigned and what will be needed for the session;
- Beneficiaries will have the right to refuse experts assigned and ask for replacement;
- Beneficiaries will have the responsibility of preparing all the materials that may be deemed necessary for the session to be as productive as possible;
- Beneficiaries may be offered the opportunity to enrol in other business, training and networking events taking place in the larger events;
- Each beneficiary shall support the expenses related with travel and accommodation to attend the session. The Management Unit will assist in logistics as needed;
- Beneficiaries should warn the Management Unit of the unavailability to attend the session at the earliest convenience;
- In the event of unavailability to attend the session, beneficiaries may be offered the opportunity of enrolling in Stage I through a remote session.
During the TAB-In Sessions
- Beneficiaries will be offered a maximum of 2 hours session with assigned advisers;
- The typical content of the TAB-In Session consists of project presentation, Q&A, discussion, feedback and recommendations;
- Beneficiaries will be expected to address the issues raised by experts to deepen the understanding of the project potential, status, roadmap, and challenges;
- Experts will provide an objective review of the project and a set of constructive recommendations accordingly;
- Beneficiaries will have the opportunity to comment on such review, and/or to further clarify recommendations and any other questions of interest;
- It is the beneficiaries’ responsibility to capture the feedback and advice provided by experts;
After the TAB-In Sessions
- Beneficiaries will receive a written document with feedback, recommendations, and eventual follow-up;
- For communication and quality management reasons, beneficiaries are expected to provide feedback and testimonials about their TAB-In Sessions experience;
- Projects qualified for Stage II will be notified;
- Beneficiaries not qualifying for Stage I Follow-up” will be notified.
Stage I Follow-up
Stage I Follow-up normally comprises the following workflow:
- Beneficiaries will be informed about what will be expected during this stage;
- Projects progress towards recommendations will be assessed in one or more control points to be defined;
- In each control point, a new assessment might be performed and new recommendations might be issued for follow-up;
- Upon experts’ recommendation or beneficiaries communication, Stage I Follow-up might be ceased;
- Upon experts’ recommendation, projects can qualify to Stage II support;
Stage II – Business Development Support
Before Stage II support:
- Beneficiaries will be informed about the business development actions to be taken, specific responsibilities of the HealttechTAB and their responsibilities;
- Beneficiaries agree with the business development support proposed, including their responsibilities.
During Stage II Support:
- Beneficiaries are responsible for the business development execution;
- Experts will support the business development execution;
- The Management Unit will monitor the business development execution;
- Beneficiaries and experts will be requested to update the Management Unit with progress and achievements;
- Beneficiaries will be offered the opportunity to enrol in meetings and showcase events;
- Beneficiaries may need to enrol in coaching sessions previous to eventual meetings or showcase events;
- Beneficiaries are expected to be available to attend meetings and/or showcase events at their own expenses;
- The Management Unit and the beneficiaries may terminate Stage II support at any time.
After Stage II Support
Beneficiaries might be requested to provide testimonials about the business development support provided and impact, and other information deemed necessary by the Management Unit for statistical, reporting or dissemination purposes.
